GALIANO STREET. OLD HABANA
Casa de la Música de Galiano (Galiano’s Music House) is really one of the places to go if you want to see the very best of Cuban music bands.
The Galiano venue quickly gained a reputation as one of the best venue for Cuban music after its opening in 2003.
It is located in a classic apartment building in Centro Habana. It is one of the most beautiful and best suitable places of its kind in Cuba.
Important salsa groups perform in front of Cubans and tourists at the Casa de la Musica. They schedule daily concerts from 4 to 10 and sometimes rap festivals and visiting musicians.
In 2019 completed a three years remodeling process and along with The Habanezando Piano Bar another bar: the Album Café Mi Habana was inaugurated. Basically, this particular bar is conceived as a space to be in the company of music and good service.
In this Café, the Music Recordings and Editions Company (Egrem) presents its live catalog, and those who wish, can obtain the discography, at the time of enjoying an excellent gastronomic service.
The main hall provides with a daily show starting at eleven o’clock at night, where different art manifestations are combined in a gala according to musical genres such as son, rumba or traditional Cuban music but it also incorporates more contemporary trends from the Cuban artistic scene.
There is a lot of space in the Galiano venue which allows you to bar perch if you want to take a break from the dance floor.
It’s located at Galiano Street in Centro Habana municipality, near China Downtown, the Malecon and the Capitol.
